Which is better feraligatr or swampert

Swampert would use Yawn , Feraligatr falls asleep in the next turn , then Swampert uses Curse until Feraligatr wakes up and then Swampert uses EQ to win. Feraligatr is supposed to be a powerhouse, but even though it's much bigger than Swampert and only has 5 less base stat points, its stats, typing and movepool don't gel particularly well, and it feels like the weaker Pokemon in almost every way.

Well if it's Feraligatr's Dragon Dance vs. Swampert's Curse I would say Swampert would stand a slightly better chance if it doesn't receive a critical hit. What's enderneath that he has to hide? Why would I want to know?. Bedides, Ferligator looks like someone took random parts of his body and made some bigger some smaller.

Swampert wins all of your catagories, Necro. All of them. Feraligatr craps it's pants at the sight of Swampert, since Swampert could easily take it out with a Cursepurt moveset to block it's Physical Attacks from doing any measurable degree of damage.

Gyarados' low speed isn't as much of a problem as it is for Feraligatr. Thanks to Intimidate and higher HP, Gyarados isn't as frail.
